Sunday Bloody Sunday 3.6.22
I had started a BLOG post last Sunday. Then, the wheels fell off. I tried to play FORTNITE with the younger kids for a little bit and then get to doing some other things, including writing the BLOG… then… everything went a little crazy.
I don’t even know if anyone reads these really. I feel like, for the most part, I’m writing this as a diary and to share some information that I’ve found throughout the course of time between one BLOG to the next.
All three of my kids are playing soccer this spring and I’m coaching two teams… that I don’t have any kids on. I love being on the training ground. It’s exciting to see the kids develop and get better. It’s frustrating when they aren’t doing that. Both teams that I coach are playing pretty well right now but they have to be convinced, especially my older group that they know what they are supposed to do.
It’s like watching FC Cincinnati at times. On paper, they should be better, but watching them, they just seem to be struggling with some of the same things they have in the past. Watching them defend set pieces is PAINFUL. I write this as I’m watching them play DC United. In the 60th minute its a 0-0 draw and that, honestly, seems like a win. Hopefully when you’re reading this on Sunday Morning FCC at least came away with a point.
I’m hopeful to be writing a touchline on the other page about that match so I’ll leave it alone here.
I’ve been playing a lot of Fortnite. I downloaded Gran Turismo 7. I thought by the time I was writing this BLOG that I’d be able to share with you what’s going on with that game. Reviews of the game so far haven’t been great but it looks B E A UTIFUL.
The attention to detail appears to be next level. It’s exciting to see the power of the PS5 and I will be playing at 8AM when this BLOG goes live twitch.tv/touchedartist

ELDEN RING: It might have the highest review scores of all time. That doesn’t mean that I’m going to play it though. It’s not my style of game. I’d guess that at this point, I’m going to wait for it to go on sale before I drop any coin on it. I have quite a few games that I haven’t jumped into yet. I have not spent much time on my PS5 and I’m sure it feels neglected a bit right now. I have Sack Boy’s Adventure, Horizon, and GT 7 to dig into.
THE BATMAN IS OUT…
I’m behind on movies so I have a hard time going to see this one without seeing Uncharted yet. I’m a movie behind on new releases. I’d love to hear from people that have seen it. Without details… how is it?

I streamed some NHL 22 last night. Goals are either really hard to come by or really easy to score so far. Also, I forgot how far removed I am from the NHL. I don’t know nearly as many players as I used to.
In the world of pro wrestling, there’s still no real news on the Cody Rhodes front. I was expecting to see that he was going to go back to WWE and probably face Seth Rollins at Mania… now… I have no idea what is going to happen.
BONKERS week last week… another wild week ahead. Keep an eye out as we try to figure out what the next step is with streaming and other events.
