Ready, Set, GAME Saturday 5.21.22
There’s been a crap ton of things going on in the world of gaming since the last time I was able to sit down and write an honest, RSG Blog post.
One of the biggest pieces of news and rumors just happened yesterday though so I figured I had to share it here on the page for the world to see… if you didn’t see it from every gaming news outlet along the way. Of course, I have something to say about it as well. As we inch closer and closer to the new OGs Podcast (planning to come your way in June) We see one of the biggest names in gaming looking to be bought or merge with another company. Electronic Arts is reportedly looking for a buyer or to merge.
EA- home of SSX Tricky ;) Madden, FIFA (as it stands today), UFC, Fight Night, and many more games is looking for an option as other companies are getting bought out by Sony and Microsoft. With MS just acquiring Activision/Blizzard, I don’t see them being an option. This story though is going to have a ton of different pieces along the way. I’m going to be doing my best to follow it on twitter.

A NEW COD is coming this year… even though I thought they would take this year off with the Microsoft acquisition initially.
I played the original Modern Warfare 2 more than any other game on the Xbox 360. There’s an ungodly number of hours that I logged in that game. More information about the new game can be found over at Polygon

I really enjoy playing FIFA but I like so many different games. If I stop hosting one of the podcasts that I’m doing, I could see playing FIFA a lot more.
