Home workout 9.30.24

Rough weekend being rained out all weekend, and I was hopeful that we wouldn’t be rained out today but, can’t control what we can’t control.

What we can control is putting in extra work at home- here are some videos to get you moving.

CARDIO TRAINING- you can skip the warmup here, if you've already stretched, but this cardio workout will be a good start before working on your footwork.

If you’d rather do a core workout than the cardio, here’s an option for you:

Some light and easy footwork to get those feet activated today.

3 Crucial drills to improve your dribbling:
Start this one at 38 seconds... do the 1v1s... then do the zig zags. Try to be creative in your movement on the ball.

If you have a wall to pass off of the 1 touch dribbling piece at 4:11 is really good.

I really like this video to help with additional footwork it's a little more advanced than the first video.

If you don't have cones, you can use anything as markers.

If you struggle, it's okay to stop, the video, rewind and watch again to get it right. IT's not about a race to get it done, its about doing it correctly.

Want to improve your footwork/agility? You can do these drills without a ball with only "4 cones"

1 v 1 skills to learn: this video is great because they slow the skills down to show you how to do them in slow motion then they show you at speed.

an additional keeper workout for those keepers that missed training tonight.

*obviously, take these at your pace and work through them at your own risk.
